![]() ![]() Jump To: Thrustmaster Settings | Forza Horizon 4 Settings Thrustmaster Control Panel Settings The settings I found lighten the wheel considerably, making it much easier to navigate the twisty-turny courses, while having a fairly strong force feedback response for the track surface and tire grip level. There are, of course, many different cars and types of races in the game, making it difficult to find the single best settings for every situation. If you primarily play simulation-style games, you will have get used to the physics, but once you do, there is a ton of fun to be had. It feels different to play an arcade racer with a wheel than it does a simulator, and I have a feeling this is where much of the criticism comes from. The game is obviously not a simulation like Assetto Corsa, so you have to manage your expectations accordingly. Like most games, the default settings make the wheel feel too heavy and hard to turn, but this is easily corrected with the proper in-game settings. While there is no doubt that the game is primarily intended to be played with a controller, it actually works very well with the Thrustmaster TMX and T150. I also have an updated version of this page for Forza Horizon 5.įorza Horizon 4 has a bad reputation when it comes to force feedback wheel support, and most people recommend just playing it with a controller. Irritating but I’m willing to hold off on dinging the company as they already stated there are issues with controllers.īut if it doesn’t get a timely fix, I’ll be back to start removing stars.Best Forza Horizon 4 Wheel Settings for Thrustmaster TMX / T150 Aug| Filed under: Thrustmaster If I force crash out of the game and restart it (the game, not the computer) it catches on and starts fine. Also found that the Dualshock sometimes has issues during game start-up - the five-blinking cube scene will stay on screen with the 4th cube blinking off & on. Not sure if it’s a game issue or system issue. I’m using a PS4 Dualshock but found that it will only work (I’m using High Sierra) if I direct wire it using USB. Works fine on my 2013 MBA 11” with i7, though I have to add to the gripe about having to download THE ENTIRE THING AGAIN for an update. UPDATE: Loss of two stars because downloading/updating this app is such a PITA! UPDATE: Bump it back up one star because now it works flawless with PS4 Dualshock using Bluetooth.
